THE CRISIS
Giraffes are facing extinction. 40% have been lost in the wild over the last three decades. Thousands are slaughtered each year to make household items and the United States, home to one of the world’s largest market for giraffe parts, is partly to blame.
Action must be taken to end this cruel trade. We must Stand Tall for Giraffes, and help save one of our most beloved species from extinction.
That is why we’re asking you to write to Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt. As a youth charity dedicated to raising awareness of endangered animals, we want imported giraffe parts banned. Given that America is a hotspot of this cruel trade, the Secretary of the Interior's office can genuinely help us save these magnificent animals through their actions.
But to make them act, we need to make them listen.
